The Locations Global team has a long standing history, they have known and worked together in various capacities for over fifteen years. In total, they have a wide range of knowledge and experience when it comes to producing digital media projects through out the world.

Bill Bristow

Managing Director

Bill Bristow was the founder of Locations Spain back in 1997. He set it up, and has run it and made a time tested success of it. Leveraging the work experience of Locations Spain, Bill has now been joined by James Goldsmith and Damian Klavs to create Locations Global.

Bill has location and production managed over a hundred still photography shoots and TV shoots in Spain. His expertise has taken him all over the globe, to countries like Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, France, Switzerland, Corsica, Tenerife, America, The U.K. USA, and Germany. This wealth of knowledge and experience repeatedly proves itself invaluable for Locations Global.

Bill also has worked with students at The Rutger Hauer Film Factory in Holland. Showing how important the choice of the right location and proper production management is for a film, or a professional photo shoot. Allowing for the complications and the logistics involved. Many times he has advised photographers and directors that they need not spend a fortune on going to a location when, a similar location can be found with much easier access and many cost saving features.

Bill also acts as a judge on the "I've Seen Films festival" in Milan, Italy. This festival has seen Bill Bristow working on the panel in 2008 and 2009 (virtually) alongside of Ridley Scoot, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez, Miranda Richardson, Richard Gere and of course Rutger Hauer who set it up.

While Bill prefers to personally work on smaller more boutique type projects, more time for personal attention, he is happy to consider any size project.

James Goldsmith

Project Director

Since graduating with a degree in Photography and Digital Imaging, James has worked within the photographic industry for over 10 years covering a variety of roles from photographer, camera tech, photographers assistant, and picture editor.

James has worked with Locations Spain for over 3 years, considering his background we are lucky to have a man of James's knowledge and experience working on our production side. Being a photographer, James has a unique understanding and knowledge of the requirements of a professional photographer working in the field.

Damian Klavs

Digital Imaging Director

Retouch - EFX

Damian started his career in the digital entertainment field at its very inception. After finishing his computer science studies at U.C. Berkley, he moved to Hollywood and became a pioneer in digital imagery. We was one of the "Test Pilots" for many of the digital imaging applications which are standards in today digital media world. He was one of the founding members of Wavefront Technologies, the original developer of the "Maya" 3d application.

Damian has worked for over 25 years now in the digital imaging industry . He has worked with a long list of clients including: Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Paramount, Disney, Chiat Day, Silcon Graphics, Sun and HP (In house Digital Media Director for the Executive Brief Center, Cupertino HP HQ.)

Damian has proven himself repeatedly... He maintains a up to date understanding and solid skill level when it comes to producing professional digital media. He is well up to the task of helping to create magic with digital images.
